I'm caught up on my podcasts so I'm now listening to recently purchased CDs. By recently purchased I mean in the last three months. Due to holidays and random iPod unresponsiveness I just haven't had the time. Mind you, I do not buy many CDs these days as most new music is just not my thing. I did buy some stuff at a used CD store and redeemed some credit card points on a few others. I mean, how long ago did Big Ass Truck call it quits? And I just recently bought "Who Let You In Here?"

I just finished listening to a Serge Gainsbourg compilation. Fantastic, I tell you!

Right now it's Modest Mouse which was one of the free with credit card points. Like I said, I don't listen to much new music but this one was free and I'd heard they were just FABULOUS and there really wasn't much else to choose from and I don't have the patience to save my points for a digital camera but ANYWAY. I can't decide if I like it or not, it isn't terribly offensive but I'm not blown away or anything. the first time I listen to a song I don't really pay attention to the lyrics, unless they're as phenomenonally bad as the lyrics of "My Hump."

I mean, lady lumps? Gross!
