    I'm blogging on the potty!

No, not the subject of the potty, I mean I am literally sitting on the potty typing this. Hooray for technology!

I'm completely over the sequined everyday purse. I was never really under it, to be honest. I think it's hideous, sequins don't belong in everyday dress. I'm all for big purses, but not covered in the shiny. I also don't care for Louis bags for everyday use either, but I'll save that for another day.

A few comments on today's Entertainment Weekly:

    • You know how earlier I said I was SO excited because Jack Sparrow was on the cover? Just a paragraph. That's it. And another picture. I'm glad they shot both sequels at the same time, though, which means I've got at least two movies worth of piratey goodness.
    • Tom Hanks is not right for the part of what's-his-face in The DaVinci Code. Yes, I am too lazy to look up the protagonist's name. Yes, I read The DaVinci Code--I also read Angels and Demons. I love light reading, sue me. Tom Hanks is a little old. I pictured more of a Ben Affleck type, only maybe a little older.
    • There's a movie version of The Namesake coming out this year! Wonderful book, and you know how I love the Indian boys.
    • Looks like Stephen King's new book will be good and gory but without all the sentimentality he's been prone to.
    • Talladega Nights! I'm ready.
    • No mention of Chinese Democracy (the Guns N Roses one, not the Ole Mossy Face/Ants one), even though Slash has said it will be out early this year, March I think?
    • Gilead was listed in one of their many lists as one of the things you HAVE to run right out and get! I suppose it must be out in paperback now, as the Drunk gave me this book for Christmas last year.
