I am right now watching Rollergirls on A&E and boy, am I nonplussed. When I was young I watched roller derby on TV. I spent a lot of time rollerskating at Skate Road 13 (it changed names later, it is now Skate Station Funworks) when I was a youngster. When I found out about roller derby in Austin, TX, I was pretty excited. I hoped this would catch on nationwide, bringing roller derby to my fair city.

I am not crazy about this show. It seems about as real as Laguna Beach.

And they're already selling the first season on DVD. This is the premiere episode!
