You know, "Outlaw" is probaby one of my favorite episodes of MST3K. And why wouldn't it be? A platinum haired dwarf? Jack Palance? Buffalo shots? What is not to love?

So anyway, it's based on a series of books, a series that will likely NOT show up on my One More Down list. A former boss actually read one of the books, it was probably "Outlaw of Gor," but I can't be sure. Anyway, he was as smitten with the episode as I was. He even saw the first movie in the series, in fact, I probably did too, you know, I can't really remember. So it seems the book series has spawned a group of folks to embrace the author's idea of female submission. As in slavery, people. Not equal opportunity slavery, but males holding dominion over females. I so did NOT pick THAT sentiment up in the movie, but then, it was MSTed pretty heavily.

Speaking of Jack Palance, did you know his birth name is Vladimir Palaniuk? Well, imdb says it so I'm not one to question that. His biography is FULL of interesting facts. Even if you aren't a fan you should check that out. Fascinating. I mean it. What a bad ass mother fucker.
