So in the past month I've had truffles from the most amazing places. See, in our world of mass production, refrigerated shipping, and global village-y goodness it's nice to know that the world of local chocolatiers is not dead.

Last month when Julie came to visit she brought a delightful hand picked assortment of truffles from See's Candies, each one better than last.

Today my mom and dad come home from the midwest with a box of Michelle's Truffles. Holy crap. Amazing.
