No pot of gold, not even a kiss.

Yesterday I drove through a rainbow. It was odd, but cool. But no, there was no kiss at the end of the rainbow, more precious than a pot of gold. No gold, just the same road that I've driven on since I started driving. OF course, it was raining and scary. It's been rainy and scary the past two nights.

Tonight I was terrified I wouldn't get home in time. I had some errands that should've taken ten minutes or less but ended up taking forty five. The sky was so ominous I was a little worried I'd become the newest resident of Publix. I'd miss my dog, but they were fully stocked on water, cigarettes, and toilet paper. What else do you need in a storm?

But it was much ado about nothing. For all the dark clouds, weather warnings, and wind it was just a little bit of rain. Enough to keep Denny from wanting to stay out too long but not enough for my deck to become a dock overlooking scenic Lake Sheila.
