It's looking like mom's going to give the idea of teaching me how to sew the ole college try. However, she doesn't want to teach me on her machine. It's probably nothing personal (sob!) so she's hatched a plan! We're going to estate sales, thrift stores, and garage sales to see what we can find. I did some early scoping out of the nearby thrift stores and found a few, but I'm just not sure what to look for. I nearly bid on one on ebay, but was advised not to. Glad my mom is the expert.

Oh, and my future husband Chris Isaak co-hosted Regis and Kelly this morning. Sigh. He's so lovely. Oh, and absolutely hilarious I might add. He made everything Kelly said look terribly scripted. Hi Chris! I'm willing to relocate! I'll even make an exception to my "no more musicians" dating rule!
