    Dude. Borat! Definitely.

Yeah. I didn't go. I got a lot done, but no moviegoing.

    The book is worse.

I've never read anything by Philip K Dick. Is it worth it to check out any of his books? I read pretty much any genre so that's no problem, but have difficulties with serialized sci-fi/fantasy.

Damnit! Aural overload! I still haven't been able to sit down and listen to this all the way through, even though I've listened to all three of the podcasts. But, I'm listening at work and writing code at the same time, so I'm hearing but not retaining.

Anyway, I'm having a hard time getting past the first speaker - I'm not a regular NPR listener, but when I do hear something from them I can't stop listening to the speakers' breathing. They all speak so clearly, but that large pause between sentences and the always-loud intake of breath distracts me to no end. Shouldn't that be part of their training? No heavy breathing on the mic? Manlaw!

This guy isn't the regular host, the interviewer Terry Gross is. I really like her, and sometimes she snorts when she laughs which is endearing. But even with the guest host he's usually not that breathy. You know who is? G Gordon Liddy. But he's not on NPR and for that we are all thankful.

I would be pleased if you could save me a "fuck y'all" but I'm on a horrible deadline and can't pick out colors just yet.

Cool. i've got a commission that needs completed and ready for the street by Nov 13 so I may place the shirt orders then. So, for all, and not just Our Only Listener Samantha (that's not her real name and she's not our only listener, but we just refer to her as that so much that it all comes out as one word), you've got until, um, Nov 14. Yes. I mean, I'll be placing more orders later on and I'm going to keep all of the screens for the forseeable future so this is not the last chance by any means.

I typed this in my blog tonight after listening to your podcast...and since it is really a comment on your podcast, I thought I'd leave it as a comment here too!

I listened to a podcast tonight that touched on the subject of true love...if such a thing exists or if everybody is settling in one way or another...

I've clipped the original comment so please take a moment to click on the link above and it will open in a new window. Then come back here.

Well spoken, Anon. I know that I've been most content with myself and those around me when I let my expectations go and live moment by moment. I'm slowly getting back to that. i've found "love," or what I consider it to be, when I'm not planning or expecting. in fact, I've found that i'm most attractive to others (and I mean this in a non-sexual way as much if not more than in a sexual way) when I just don't give a damn and present myself as is.

Oh, and right on about love meaning something different every time you say it. I told a co-worker I love her when she gave me a sugary treat but didn't tell a man I loved him when he did something much more meaningful (now I mean that in a clean way, bitches).

I'm going to destroy the linearity of your blog by posting here, and then later posting under the podcasts. But, yay for shirts, boo for SciFi books (I haven't read any of his other stuff, so I dunno) and my unofficial title works, for reasons that shall be revealed in the link below:
