It's ridiculous. People are lining up everywhere. So I've got a quarter of a tank and a fuel efficient car so I've decided to park it and wait until monday. I think people are panicking and acting silly about the whole thing. how about you take advantage of this and stay at home? Take a walk? Not wait in line for hours?

That's what I did. I had a brow appointment for 12:30 so I loaded up the backpack and headed to the salon. It's only a mile and a half away and made me feel like such a slacker for not walking over there more often! I made it in time and decided to run a few other errands. I had a prescription that needed refilling so that was taken care of. I went to the TJ Maxx and replaced a broken umbrella and bought some good socks for my trip. I had a delicious lunch at a new place in the strip mall. I intended to walk back but my mom was at the dog groomer's so I hitched a ride back with her.

This made me set a new rule for myself: I can buy whatever I want at the TJ Maxx as long as I walk there and can carry said purchases back.

No, really, people are being idiots about this whole thing. I can't believe it. We're supposed to get more supplies early in the week and as far as I know busses are still running.
