There is a rock and roll heaven.

I had one of those recent freak outs related to my own mortality. Yes, in which I am so paralyzed with fear that there is little I can do other than hyperventilate. I know this happens to you and if you tell me otherwise I will know you aren't telling me the truth. No matter how sturdy your faith there will be a time of doubt.

So that night I had an odd dream where someone who has passed away comforted me. My hand was held, I was reassured. I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of peace.

And, oddly enough, that person was Arthur "Killer" Kane, bassist of the New York Dolls. Honestly, I think either the higher power or my subconscious (depending on how you look at it) has a great sense of humor.

So this brings up an interesting point. As you may or may not know, Kane joined the LDS church before his death. There's actually a great documentary about him called "New York Doll." I highly recommend. So either Heaven is full of punk rockers or Mormons. Really, either can be sucessfully argued.
