    Things have to change

Ok. If you're shopping today I wish you luck but things have GOT to change. I don't care which god you worship the holidays have grown into something unmanageable and ridiculous. A worker was KILLED and a woman had a miscarriage due to surging crowds at a Long Island Wal-Mart. Every year there's a story about Black Friday injuries but I hope this story will be a wake up call.

You know what? It's not worth the savings you get on that item. Your kid will only be upset for a moment if he doesn't get that hard to find toy. We need to remember that the holidays are about spending time with our loved ones, not about who can get the best things. Why not make things for each other? Don't tell me you aren't crafty, all that tells me is that you need to learn a craft.

People don't need to die so you can buy your child's love. Stay home next year and make something.

Where did it say that the woman had a miscarriage? I read the article and it looks like the pregnant woman was only minorly injured and didn't lose her baby. Still ridiculous and wholly unnecessary, though.

looks like it was unfounded according to a few sources. though it's weird, I swear there was mention of it in the article (they also didn't have the decedent's name in the article when I posted it, now it's there). So I guess they revised it.
