April Charity of the Month: WPLN
Since I am a pinko liberal commie of COURSE I'm going to give to the local NPR station!
I'm always surprised when I have to explain NPR to people. Yes, there are people who don't get it! I remember a friend saying he wished there were a station that played classical music during the day. I mean, seriously???? And I am aware that not all NPR stations play classical during the day, but ours does, and it's kind of the rule, not the exception as I understand it (don't leave a comment telling me I'm wrong becaue I said there are exceptions, whore).
Also, they picked me to win $1000 in gift cards to a local bookstore last year. I hope that in time I can repay them fully.
