Birthday 2004 We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun. But the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone. Actually, no one died, but fun was had by all (or at least that's what they tell me). We started out at the Melrose Lanes. Here's the breakdown: Lane 24, or: the Laudes meet the loudest. Kat and Ginger with Pimp Daddy Rick behind. Lane 23, or: Stop being so cool, you're making everyone else jealous. Andy and me, and isn't that a totally BITCHIN scarf that Andy's wearing? I'm wearing my Dreamweaver button because I'm CERTIFIED. Oh and if you look closely you can see the pink bead on my tongue bar that I swallowed when I ate my last piece of birthday cake earlier this week. Lane 22, or: The Infielders. Stevo, Michelle, Greg, and Dave After a few games we somehow got organized into some teams for some tournament that I never really understood but hey, what's to understand when my team won! And everyone learned that Leah + *NSYNC's "No Strings Attached" on the jukebox + $1 = fun for Leah, pain for all others. Michelle and I had a bunch of fun with our stunt bowling (except I never got to do the spin and bowl thing). I didn't do so well, but I never do, and as always I had a ton of fun. After the bowl-riffic time the cool kids headed to the Broadway Brewhouse. This picture s me demonstrating my camera's timer (which I just love, you know). Ginger was right in the middle but she moves fast. Again, Andy, then me. I'm saying something to the effect of "Hey you guys, look right there." It was cool chatting with my friends, and I'm glad I got to chat with Rick re: trucking as a career (it is, as you may know, one of my dream jobs). And then all the cool kids called it a night. I got up early (well, relatively speaking) the next morning to go to a restaurant that wasn't even open! SUCK! But yep, I had a happy birthday. |
