Disney 11/16/2002
With Mike
Wazowski.
I checked my key to see if it worked, and of course it didn't. I did what desk
gal #2 suggested and called maintenance to have the lock reprogrammed or something.
I left for MGM wearing my poncho because it was raining a little. When I stepped
off the bus at MGM the rain started coming down harder. There was no wait for
the Tower of Terror. I was offered the seatbelt but I had my wet poncho in my
hand so I took the bench instead. Next I hit the Rock and Roller Coaster which
had a little bit of a wait, I got the Love in an Elevator/Walk this Way track,
both songs are two of my favorite Aerosmith songs. There was scaffolding covering
the guitar in front. I was starving because I didn't eat breakfast so I made
a 10:30 priority seating for the Sci Fi Dine In which is one of my favorite
restaurants. I had a little bit of time to kill so I checked the Millionaire
Fast Pass time but it wasn't good. I headed to Sci Fi anyway and poked around
in Writers' Stop (formerly Buy the Book) until Sci Fi opened. I was seated in
a car close to the front. My food was excellent as it always is, and Lisa the
server did a great job. After I left I saw Mike Wazowski and there was no line
to meet him so I stepped right up. I got my Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-Play
It! Fast Pass and stopped in One Man's Dream to see the exhibit. I thought it
was really interesting and I wondered why I missed it the year before. After
One Man's Dream I walked past Millionaire and saw that there was only a 5 min
wait and no line to get in so I headed in. Millionaire was fun as usual, and
I was in the top ten the last time they showed scores. I wasn't in the mood
for doing the Backlot Tour so I just walked in and checked the exhibit, it featured
movie villains. I wish I had taken pictures, it was cool. I headed to Millionaire
for my Fast Pass time. This time in one of the top tens I was seventh. I went
to Star Tours next, there was a 20 minute wait. Next I watched the Indiana Jones
Stunt Spectacular which was all right, but I guess live shows aren't my kind
of thing. Next, Muppet Vision, where I got to see almost all of the pre-show.
