9/18/05:

I took a trip to Pigeon Forge and posted a few pictures. It was fun.

8/21/05:

I think I love the Long and Lean jeans I got at the Gap. I thought I was a Curvy girl but nope, apparently I'm Long and Lean. Never have I ever been so happy with a pair of jeans. Except for maybe when I was in high school and bought a pair of Lucky jeans (I had to put them on layaway, that was the most I'd ever spent on clothing at the time) but those Luckies didn't fit near as well as these Long and Leans (the Luckies were men's, for some reason I'm thinking they didn't make them for the ladies at the time).

Here are some pictures of note:

A nun playing basketball at the Irish picnic The stray dogs that run around at work. The brown one is my favorite. They peacefully co-exist with all the people around, they don't beg for scraps, and I've never seen them show any agression towards people

Can't sleep. No idea why, just won't happen. Blech.

8/4/05:

The month of August will be crazy for the LPC.  It's already started, in fact.  For some reason the last weekend of July I decided it was high time to clean up the filth pit I live in.  Like, we're talking scrubbed linoleum floors, vacuuming WITH moved furniture and petfresh deodorizer, and a new air filter.  And that's just over two days.  I'm hoping the
need to clean survives until tomorrow morning and through the weekend.  I've only done the first floor and haven't done all I hoped to there.

Tuesday night was Ben Harper et Innocent Criminals at the Ryman in a RARE!  ACOUSTIC!  PERFORMANCE!  I think they're the only folks I can stand to hear do acoustic sets, as I am not an acoustic fan.  Well, Mom and I went and loved it.  We ended up having to leave about 2.5 hours into it (and there were no real breaks during the set, I think he left
the stage for less than 5 minutes both times). They apparently played another half hour after we left.  Now THAT'S how concerts should be.  Mom even enjoyed it!  Who knew anyone could rock out so hard acoustically?

Last night was a Chuck Klosterman book signing.  If you know me, then you know if it was great I would type a big ole essay here.  I will let my lack of enthusiam here let you know how that went.

Tonight is dog washing night!  Tomorrow is the vet visit!  Saturday is Hands Down Eugene!  Sunday is Ole Mossy Face!  What excitment will Monday bring?  Hopefully lots of sleep.

Later on this month:  Bruce Campbell!  Chris Isaak!

6/4/05:

I really, really need to get my California pictures organized and online. Well, they're online, just not in any sort of order.

Also, I'm working on a teeny tiny project for this site, but getting off my ass to work on it has been a formidable obstacle.

4/23/05:

So, it's been a crazy week. I seem to be trucking along just fine, though, for those of you concerned.

Right now I'm killing time at work waiting for a weak connection to the wireless network across the street. It's happened before, and let's hope it happens again.

But in the mean time, here are some pictures:

You know, the cool thing about my rokken new computer (other than being able to poop and check email at the same time) is that I can now use itunes. All I need is an ipod and you can help me get a free one and I'll be your bff!

4/2/05:

Oh my gosh you guys, I totally met Richard Simmons last night! It was so cool cuz he's partialy responsible for me being such a sexxxy bitch these days. Many thanks to Katherine and Molly! Here's one picture, more to come later:

3/29/05:

Yay! my new computer is here! My new digital camera is here! I've got new versions of Dreamweaver and Photoshop (I was running 3.0 and 5.0 respectively)! My old computer, bless its heart, was on its way down. But see, now I'm all wireless n stuff...today I checked my email while on the potty, so that was rokken. God bless technology.

But this weekend I managed to keep my allergy swollen eyes open long enough to drive over to the Zoo and see the meerkats get easter eggs:

Testing...new computer, new version of dreamweaver.

3/13/05:

So I've fully given up on the Prince every day project which explains my long absence. No Prince every day, no need for updates! But we must soldier on. I've got no real news except for that there will be a teeny tiny slacker get together Friday, March 18. Contact me for more details if you want them.

I'm also going to post some pictures here:

Denny's new collar! This was a belated Christmas gift from Ginger. I know it's so not classy to discuss these things but it's Coach, this makes Denny all high class n stuff.
The Carter Administration rocking the F out at Rocketown
My new hat. Again, I shouldn't discuss these things, but it's Coach, bitches. Ginger's got me totally addicted, and luckily there is an outlet store not far.
Meerkats love bowling too.
Ghostfinger is the best band ever. EVER.

2/4/05:

This week has sucked in a way that things should never suck. The good news is it's over and if all goes well I will have a very, very early bedtime. ROCK ON. The bad news is I've f-ed up on the Prince every day project. I'm going to keep on trying, but who knows? At least I won't have the pressure of fighting to find a Prince song to listen to.

Oh, and more cowbell.
